Surprisingly the river is deep. The seaweed moves in waves across the riverbed, revealing patchs of blurred color. You dive deeper, the water is crystal clear. Schools of tiny fish waft past undisturbed by your passage & a lobster waves lazy feelers before backing a little further into the weeds.
Coins litter the sand below, one of them a large gold zorkmid! You try to cover those last few feet to reach it, but a current is carrying you downstream.
