The life buoy is a reassuring sight hanging beneath from it's web strand, but you are beginning to enjoy the swim. The cavern walls are blackrock, sheer surfaces as yet unscathed by the forces of the water that flows through them. The river must be newly formed. The reflections on the blackrock are shadowed as the River Alph flows under a wooden bridge northwards.
