The river carries you north towards a brightly colored dinghy. It seems an odd place for the small craft to be moored, there is no pier or path out of the cave. As the dinghy comes within reach, you grab the gunwale & peer over the edge. On the other side of the sole you can see a large gold coin, the side facing you has the siloette of a small dragon embossed on the surface in a darker gold.

With a kick of your legs, you try to climb aboard. For a moment, you are balanced on the edge of the boat, the life buoy just within reach, then your weight tilts the small boat & the coin slides towards you, close enough to grab.

The top of gunwale dips precariously close to the waterline, you let go, dropping back into the water. This is a delightful river, you take a deep breath, intending to dive towards the bottom & explore further but quickly, the current is carrying you north east.
