A stone entrance blocks the end of the path that skirts the edge of the water from the south west. A brass plaque set into the stones along side proclaims the E.R.A.

The River Alph flows into into the large cavern, swirling around the walls, drawn faster & faster towards the centre where it pours to unknown reaches below. On the wall opposite you can see a stenciled sign warning you against swimming near The Eye of the Storm.
